situation we are experiencing has prompted us to take measures that will make you feel safe so that you can enjoy a pleasant stay.

We have modified our cancellation policy and taken extra safety and cleaning measures.

We have made our cancellation policy more flexible:

  • Full refund of the advance payment even during the state of alarm.
  • Full refund of the advance up to one week before arrival once the alarm state has ended.

Our extra measures against Covid-19

Tamarindos Peñíscola has created a general contingency plan for the entire establishment, with its protocols of action by department and its corresponding records, which will be documented and available to anyone who requests it.

Tamarindos staff is subjected to daily temperature control. We also have a responsible statement updated daily from each worker if they have not been in contact in the last 15 days with any positive person in COVID 19.

Our goal is to ensure optimal security internally and for our customers.

Staff

  • All personnel have the individual protection equipment established in the
  • Contingency Plan for each department.
  • Training and awareness of all protocols and measures to be complied with.
  • Extending the safety distances between staff and customers, whenever possible.

Cleaning Apartments

  • Extra cleaning in each apartment. The cleaning time is extended in order to comply with the Covid-19 prevention measures established by the Ministry of
  • Health, according to the protocols published by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
  • The cleaning staff will wash their hands and gloves with hydroalcoholic gel , before each apartment cleaning. At the end, they will discard the gloves to avoid cross-contamination.
  • Disposal of brochures in the apartments.
  • The air conditioning system will be checked periodically.
  • At the entrance of the apartment you will find all the windows open to comply with the necessary ventilation protocol.
  • We have eliminated unnecessary textile elements from the apartment, removed for safety reasons. You can ask our staff for extra pillows or blankets if you wish, which will be delivered clean and properly sanitized.

Exterior cleaning

  • Disinfectant gel available in all common areas
  • Exhaustive cleaning of swings, railings, elevator, entrance door, access keyboards…

Reception

  • We have implemented an online check-in and payment system that must be done hours before arrival and can be done from any device such as tablet, mobile or pc.
  • Each apartment will have an access code that will be provided to you once the cleaning tasks have been completed and the check-in and payment have been made.
  • You will find the key inside the apartment properly disinfected.
  • You will not have to go to the reception if it is not urgent.
  • The communication between the client and the staff of Tamarindos will be done preferably via Whatsapp or telephone.
  • In reception there will be a protective screen of methacrylate on the counter, signage on the floor and information signs to ensure the necessary safety measures.
  • We recommend making any payment by card or Bizum.
  • An extra cleaning will be done at the counter after each customer’s service.
    Disinfectant gel will be available to customers.

Swimming pool

  • The hammocks have to be requested from the lifeguard. Together with the hammock you will be provided with a disposable cover. The hammocks will be collected at 19.00h for a complete disinfection.
  • The automatic dosage of the water disinfection products ensures the necessary amount to keep it in optimal safety conditions guaranteeing the absence of the virus.
  • It is forbidden to wear shoes around the swimming pool.
  • Availability of gel for the clients inside the pool enclosure.

Laundry

  • Washable fabric bag for customer’s clothes.
  • We certify that the treatment to which our lingerie is submitted ensures the absence of the virus since it is washed at more than 60º and with approved virucides.
  • There will be limited capacity and signaling.

Exteriors

  • Playground: Increased frequency of cleaning to be opened to the public according to the guidelines of the authorities.
  • Elevator: Its use may be shared exclusively by members of the same family.

BAR-Barbecue

  • We will reinforce the hygiene and disinfection of all the furniture of the bar by means of the use of virucides adapted to the homologated contingency.
  • We have reduced the number of tables to improve the personal safety of diners and ensure the minimum distance required by law and thus allow a more fluid mobility for all.
  • Bar staff must wear a mask.
  • We sanitize tables, chairs and bar before their use by a new client.
  • The bar offer letter will be fixed on the bar to avoid a possible transmission element. It will also be in QR code format.
  • Dishwasher and glass cleaner cleaning at (>80º).

Maintenance

  • The communication of maintenance incidents between the customer and the staff of Tamarindos will be done preferably via Whatsapp or telephone.
  • The maintenance service will be provided preferably when the client is not in the apartment. And if this is not possible, the appropriate EPIS will be used and safety distances will be maintained.
  • This Contingency Plan will be updated every day according to the regulations that may arise.
